     Giant Mountain Bikes LTD is a bike company from Taiwan that was founded in 1972. Giant originally began selling OEM bikes under other company’s name brands until 1986, the Giant Company created its own line of bikes and began selling them under their own name. The Giant Company has 7 groups of bikes; they are Road Training, Mountain, Comfort, Mode, Indoor Cycling, Family Cycling and Specialty.

Giant is a great name in mountain bikes and you typically see one of these being ridden by a professional mountain biker. The Anthem Advanced is one of the best cycles on the market today. It has XC racing suspension frame yet the bike is light and is very compatible with off roading. It has a T-800 composite frame and Maestro suspension rocker. The Anthem Advanced also offers an Inertia valve equipped Fox 32 F80X with 80mm suspension fork an a Fox float RP23 rear shocks. It has an Easton composite handlebar, seat post and stem. It is a very light weight bike but it has the new Mavic Cross Max SL-R disc racing wheels. The price of this type of professional bike is around $ 6000.

The Glory Free Ride Mountain Bike has 8 inches of travel and has the ALUXX SL alloy frameset with Maestro suspension system. It has an oversize one Point five standard headset. The Glory Free Ride also has a Marzocchi 66 SL 1 with 170mm suspension fork with a DHX 4.0 coil rear shock and it has a Race Face Evolve DH handlebar, stem and seat post. The price of this bike is around $ 3500.
